Aimee is the daughter of Willie Martin, a horse trainer with his own stables in Kentucky.

Aimee and Eliot Spencer were high school sweethearts, and he gave her a promise ring. When Eliot joined the military, he couldn’t talk or visit Aimee as often. Eventually, Aimee got married to someone else.

After a high-rolling Wall Street broker, Alan Foss, burns down Willie’s stable, killing all but one of his racehorses, Willie gets in contact with Eliot, seeking his and the Leverage team’s help. Aimee, who hasn't spoken to Eliot in eight years, is opposed to letting him help her and her father. After an argument, Aimee and Eliot hook up. At the end of the episode, Aimee and Eliot share a kiss as she accepts he's found his path.
