Father Paul is a character from the television series Leverage in the episode "The Miracle Job".

History

Father Paul is a childhood best friend of Nathan Ford, both from Boston, Massachusetts. They attended Catholic Seminary together. While Nathan pursued other interests after meeting his wife, Maggie Collins, Paul continued into the ministry, and was installed in the Los Angeles Saint Nicholas Church.

It was at his church where Paul baptized Sam Ford.

Relationships

Nathan Ford

• While Paul sees Nathan as a friend, he is both sad for and distrusts him. Paul knew to the day of Sam's funeral. If any character knows how much Nathan has changed, Paul knows the best.

Maggie Collins

• Paul and Maggie still keep in contact since her divorce from Nathan. Maggie was first informed to Paul's injuries before Nathan was.

Series Appearance

In "The Miracle Job", Maggie that Paul was assaulted and hospitalized by a local gang, and suggested the Nathan look into it. Nathan discovered Andrew Grant's plot to buy the site of the church to make room for a strip mall, which Paul tried to stop by appealing to the city council.
