Summary

Parker sees Tina get hit by a car. When Parker takes Tina back to their base, Tina tells Sophie and Parker that she thinks her aunt’s ghost is haunting her. Tina took care of her aunt in her final days, and the aunt left her the house in her will. A manner of paranormal experiences occurred, like hearing her aunt’s cane and seeing words written in blood on the mirror. Tina feels horrible as she was too tired to take care of her aunt when she died and believes that her aunt’s spirit is punishing her and wants her out of the house. Harry and Eliot are in Brunei helping Hardison with an extradition, leaving only the girls to help her.

Parker and Breanna investigate the house and find micro-speakers and a projector. They find out that it’s a real-estate scam with the people “haunting” owners out of the houses. Tina doesn’t believe the team, so they decide to show her the truth by having the scammers try the same thing on their HQ. During the con, a hitman arrives, seeming to have hired the real-estate scammers. Breanna realizes the hitman must have hired them to look for houses on the Halloween parade route, as he is going to take out a politician in the parade. Sophie gets the younger scammer, Deke Herbert, to work with them, and they scare off the others by using their “haunting” equipment.

• There is a tiny allusion to The Librarians (another Dean Devlin show starring the actors that portray Eliot and Harry), when Breanna mentions an influencer with the last name of Cillian. The same last name as another character on The Librarians.
• Sophie's alias "Estella Havisham" is a reference the character of the same name from the Charles Dickens novel Great Expectations.
• This episode mainly centers on the female leads, as Eliot and Harry are in Brunei helping Hardison.
• Parker references the events of The Future Job when she admits to Tina that she used to believe in psychics.
