Summary
A woman suffering from an autoimmune disorder is found unconscious in her apartment by her friend and doctor. Dr. Beth tells the Leverage team that Julie had been subscribed to Bronwyn Lark, following her lifestyle and taking her supplements, being encouraged away from modern medicine. Bronwyn Lark is a lifestyle and wellness guru targeting desperate people and peddling snake oil instead of actual medicine. The team creates a bee cream company to sell to Bronwyn, intent on discrediting her. But right when they release the information on the cream they sold her to discredit her, Bronwyn spins the narrative in her favor.
Bronwyn joins in partnership with Chad Deihle, a Crypto investor. The team tries to drive them apart by making Chad think that "Doris" and Bronwyn are an undercover FBI investigation trying to catch him for money laundering, while making Bronwyn think that Chad is about to be embroiled in scandal. Breanna tries to help Bronwyn's assistant, Melanie Brown, telling her how her boss is about to go down, while Parker installs a virus Breanna made onto the Enlyven computers to corrupt their customer data. The team has Breanna warn Melanie as they knew she’d go and tell Bronwyn.
Chad takes Sophie and Bronwyn captive and threatens to kill them if they don't give him Enlyven's customer data. When Chad's henchman Eivor arrives to get the data drive from Melanie, Eliot saves her and beats him up, pushing him into a beehive. Harry arrives at Chad's office and gives him the drive, which Chad plugs into his computer to check. He says he's still going to kill them, but Sophie throws her magnetic-case phone at the safe containing his crypto drive, claiming it's an EMP device. Chad lets them go, and as soon as they're gone, takes the drive out of the safe to check it. This, of course, allows Breanna's virus to hack his money and wipe it out. The team, with the help of Eliot's government friend, convince Bronwyn to go into witness protection, which is a living hell for someone used to the spotlight like her.

Trivia
- While talking to Breanna in Bronwyn's office, Parker mentions that "Peggy and Hurley are friends, but they'd never try to hurt me..." which is a reference to the two recurring characters in Leverage, Jack Hurley (first appearance, The 12-Step Job) and Peggy Milbank (first appearance, The Juror #6 Job). When their characters meet at the end of "The Boys' Night Out Job", we see the sparks start to fly between them. Discovering they stayed together fulfills many viewers' hopes that an unattached small business owner (who happens to like cats) can find a nice guy and settle down.
- Sophie makes the statement, "She tasks me, and I shall have her." This is a quote from "Moby Dick," an 1851 novel written by American writer Herman Melville.
- Sophie's PR alias Doris has a New Zealand accent. Gina Bellman, who plays Sophie, lived in New Zealand until she was 11. Sophie has a habit of playing PR experts with New Zealand accents.
- Harry's alias, Kent Allard, is the real name of the superhero The Shadow.
