Timothy Tarquin "Tim" Hutton (b. August 16 1960 in Malibu, California) is an American actor who plays Nathan Ford in the TV series Leverage and for his role in the 1980 movie, "Ordinary People" which earned him an Oscar, making him the youngest actor to receive an Oscar.
Biography
Hutton is an Oscar and Golden Globe winning American actor who has appeared in episodes of A Nero Wolfe Mystery, 5ive Days to Midnight (with actress Kari Matchett), and Kidnapped.
He won an Oscar at 19 for Ordinary People.
He has also appeared in movies such as Taps, Daniel, Iceman, The Falcon and the Snowman, Turk 182!, Made in Heaven, Everybody's All-American, Torrents of Spring, Q & A, The Dark Half, French Kiss, Beautiful Girls, The Substance of Fire, City of Industry, Playing God, The General's Daughter, Deterrence, Secret Window, Kinsey, Last Holiday, The Kovak Box, Heavens Fall, The Last Mimzy, Lymelife, The Killing Room, Brief Interviews with Hideous Men, and Serious Moonlight. Two of his most recent roles were The Ghost Writer (2009) and Multiple Sarcasms (2010).
He is also scheduled to appear in the upcoming TV series, "American Crime" which is due to air 2015.
Director and Producer
Hutton has also directed or produced other projects from music videos to television series, including A Nero Wolfe Mystery, where he not only portrayed Wolfe's assistant, Archie Goodwin, but was an executive producer and directed several episodes.

- Won an Oscar in 1981 for his role in "Ordinary People" and at the time, was the youngest ever person to win the award. Dedicated the award to his father, Jim Hutton who had died two years earlier in 1979 from liver cancer at the age of 45.
- Previously worked with Lauren Holly (Tobey Earnshaw on the 1996 movie, "Beautiful Girls".
- Also worked with Saul Rubinek with the two men not only appearing together in Leverage but also appearing alongside each other in an episode of A Nero Wolfe Mystery.
